What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Use of your data

The Data that we receive from you is used to:

We do not sell or exchange Data to third parties.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

Who we share your data with

We only collect Data about you on the website which you volunteer when you e-mail us or by using our Contact Us. We may collect and process the following data about you:

  • your name;
  • your email address;
  • the time and date of your visit on the website;
  • information that you provide by filling in our online contact forms on our website.

This information will only be used by us a) for the purpose for which it was provided by you b) for verification purposes and c) statistical analysis, marketing and administration purposes.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

How we protect your data

We are committed to protecting the security of your Data. However, we cannot give a complete guarantee for the security of your data transmitted to our site over the Internet. Transmission of Data is at your own risk.

Access to Information

You may request in writing copies of your Data held by us as Data Controller. We will provide you with a copy of the Data held by us at no cost not more than 21 days after the request in writing.  We may also request proof of identification to verify your access request. If your Data that we hold is inaccurate, please let us know and we will make the necessary amendments, erase or block the relevant Data as you request and notify you within 40 days of your request that the relevant action has been taken.

We will hold onto your personal Data only for as long as necessary for the purposes of providing access to our website and related services to you or as required by law.

The Right to Have Your Information Erased

You may request in writing to have any data we hold about you erased. We may also request proof of identification to verify your access request. All requests should be addressed to paula@number45.ie.

We reserve the right to change this Privacy Statement from time to time. If we make any changes, we will post those changes here so that you can see what information we gather, how we might use that information and in what circumstances we may disclose it. By continuing to use our website after we post any such changes, you accept and agree to this Privacy Statement as modified.
